My fear is multiple: 1. all research that appears to support climate change will be halted 2. all research that focuses on BIPOC health will be halted 3. all research focusing on reproductive rights will be halted 4. research that supports that climate change is not real will be funded

trump is unleashed & showing his true colors. He is a blatant racist. He has eliminated DEI, placed those who were hired due to DEI on leave, eliminated Black History month from federal government, Spanish translations on the federal government web page, and more.

Devastating for scientists and their research, and everyone who benefits from that research.

I’m not sure if everyone outside academia is aware that a delay or β€œpause” in grant funding often means the researchers themselves are lost from the field, along with their expertise.

A dying fascist opposition: thoughts from the 2025 Seattle People’sΒ March Enough of the meek digging of one's own grave! There exist countless examples throughout history across the globe of oppositional movements that recapture the heart of the people. None of the oppositional structures and strategies we have now are working. We cannot wait any longer to raise an oppositional party prepared and equipped to do just that.
