It’s always enlightening to hear lectures about being tough on crime from someone convicted of 34 felonies by a jury of his peers, and the subject of two impeachments.

The damage goes far beyond what we see on the surface. On top of food and housing insecurity, gun violence, and a country in crisis, so many children will need an enormous amount of mental health care after the trauma they’ve endured and witnessed. 💔 The scars will run deep 😢
