Where should I spend December? The year of travel in Asia is booked through Nov. 4. So, where to next? What country or city in Asia would you recommend? I am open to your ideas!

Years ago, motels would brag that they offered color TVs and direct dial phones. Now it’s free high speed wi-fi and breakfast buffets. In the future, I hope that soundproofing will be a key amenity. I feel like I have a room next to an F1 speedway. Never stops, 24\7.

Back at the HI Express in Rayong for eight nights. Staff here know me by this point. Here til 2/16. Final “point run” visit will be a 9-night sprint on March 9-18. It’s a strange obsession, but it will all be over on 3/18. Then the real fun begins.
