@a11yawareness.bsky.social No. That's wrong. If a screen reader user tabs through, they will miss them. You should not need a lesson on how to fill in a form, if you do, it is too complex. For a date field, you do each part on its own and include the instruction in the label, so that tab works

I'm really not good at motivating myself to exercise enough, but sharing apple fitness data is one of the best ways for me. Nothing like seeing somebody else complete a workout or burn loads of energy!

@disrightsuk.bsky.social I'd love to do more but flats are not built with space for all the bins we need, and as a blind person, I can't get to places to dispose of things properly. Mostly, I can recycle plastic, so to me, that is not the big issue that disabled people face

Imagine you have a map showing snow for each county, city, zip code, etc. Alt text might not be able to convey single value on the map. But if that map is accompanied by a data table, then people can still get the information. That data table needs to be coded with screen reader users in mind.
