I feel like Marty St-Louis deserves credit for staying the course and not giving up on Kirby Dach. He could've scratched him for a few games and no one would've batted an eye. Instead, he was patient with him, and it looks like Dach has turned a corner.

Carrier plays 20 minutes a night on the right side. They're addressing an obvious need. Carrier is also a stop gap for Mailloux & Reinbacher to give them time to develop. Barron didn't play much and would likely be in Laval if he didn't require waivers. Solid move.

I truly believe he's had ample opportunity to prove himself. His play is not on the organization at all, but rather on the player in my opinion.
