also this is getting into my vague feelings about the game as a whole, but I also like that in a story that very intentionally features diff types of social outcasts, I like how Gaku represents “guy who will do whatever it takes to fit in with others” and only ever succeeds when he’s being sincere

LMAO Gaku may be shitty in a lot of routes, but I like that he’s just a Regular Guy who can’t handle being put in a situation 💀 I also like the little snippets where you get to see how much he cares about bringing people together!! It’s always refreshing to see that side of him, even if it’s rare
