Animal Rescue League of Iowa removes nearly 100 dogs from central Iowa puppy mill The Animal Rescue League of Iowa said it helped remove nearly 100 dogs and puppies, some just days old, from a licensed breeder in Boone County.

The Animal Rescue League of Iowa helps so many pets! Just a few weeks ago, they rescued nearly 100 dogs from neglect. Your donation will help them care for those dogs as well as many other animals!

Andi is a quiet, short-haired calico. She is shy and slow to warm up to people. Once she does, she shows her playful side. Just like a lot of kids, she likes watching PBSKids. She loves all the animated shows, but Daniel Tiger is her favorite.

Meet Cassiopeia and Andromeda! They are sisters who were abandoned in rural Louisiana. They approached a house and were taken in. Both cats were named after constellations.

Sky asleep, snuggled on top of fuzzy blankets. One paw is sticking outward, almost reaching toward the camera. She looks cozy and warm. Sky snuggling on top of a person’s lap. Her front paws are wrapped around the person’s waist, as if she is hugging them tight.

Sky loves belly rubs and finding the warmest place to sleep. In the winter, she makes sure to come snuggle in bed under the blankets. But her favorite place to be, even on the hottest days, is snuggling on a lap.

Meet Sky! She is a cuddly cat who lives in Australia. When she was a kitten, she was brought to the local market to be given away. A 10 year old girl cried until her mother let her bring home the kitten. Now Sky is almost 14 and she and her caregiver have grown up together.

After Steven Jr was adopted, Liberty was found. She had been living in the sewer by Liberty Bridge in Pittsburgh. The caregivers rescued her and brought her home. The kittens have become best friends. Their favorite things to do are snuggle, play, and cause trouble.

Jasper found a new home. He is his caregiver’s first cat ever. A special cat named Jolene convinced her that she would like a cat of her own. She went to the shelter and asked which cat was least likely to find a home. They showed her Jasper, and she knew he was meant to be hers.

Meet Jasper! He was adopted from a local shelter. A few months after his adoption, a woman found him living in a storm sewer. She fed him for months, trying to find his home. Eventually she brought him to the shelter and learned that his caregiver abandoned him. (maxxioverdrive.bsky.social)
