It is both pathetic & dangerous to see Republicans actively stoking a religious war in a country that was founded on the value of religious freedom.
Fortunately, the good people of NYC did not fall for this grotesque, bigoted fear mongering against @mayor.nyc.gov.
First of all, we have to assume now that they are lying about even “dozens.” Second, this is like re-establishing the eastern direction of the sunrise. Mass voter fraud doesn’t exist in 🇺🇸, & anyone who lies that it does should be shunned from polite society & no longer taken seriously in the media.
And this is why Jewish groups pay over $750 million each year for private security.
Helluva tax we pay….
DOGE canceled research grants because they mentioned LGBTQ.
The person making the call had no experience reviewing grants and admitted no research informed the decision.
And this is the incompetence making federal funding decisions.

A White House aide made waves this week by urging House Republicans to stop talking about "mass deportations." By my analysis, the president's top Fox News propagandists dropped that language weeks or months ago. www.mediamatters.org/fox-news/fox...
Gen. Grynkewich: "What I've observed over the course of studying air power in history is that any time you attack a civilian population, you usually end up finding that it just hardens their resolve."
You read that right - MILLIONS spent on lobster and luxury items while we cut SNAP benefits for hungry families.
These people are disgraceful. 🤬🤬🤬

They’d have to be brought in, too.
Are they just gonna float in timber across the ocean from …. ??
Trump & Hegseth fired the experts and replaced them with dumb loyalists.
“The Strait of Hormuz is not just an oil chokepoint. The Middle East accounts for about 24% of global sulphur production, and sulphur is the feedstock for sulphuric acid used across nickel, copper & fertilizer supply chains.“
This excellent WSJ piece explains that U.S. has not provided naval escorts to tankers because of the risks of Iranian attack on U.S. warships close to Iran's shores. NOTE: All these same concerns would apply to any effort to employ mine clearance platforms in the Gulf.

The US-Israeli war on Iran is far worse than Gulf states feared, prompting rage against Iran, dismay with Washington, and deep and growing suspicion of Israel's regional ambitions.
My oped today for Haaretz, because someone has to tell Israelis such things.

In South Burlington, Vermont, protesters are being tear-gassed by ICE and local police as they attempt to prevent a kidnapping.
Several public libraries in our area were supposed to get charging stations added with a federal / county funds matching program.
The current administration cancelled their funding so the # of installations were reduced, the libraries lost out.
DISTRACTIONS DON’T WORK.
COVERUPS WON’T WORK.
NOT EVEN WAR.
RELEASE THE EPSTEIN FILES.
I believe it’s is a built in spec for malignant narcissists.
Who could possibly have foreseen that war on Iran would (a) make Iran retaliate by closing the strait of Hormuz, which (b) could disrupt world oil markets, enriching Russia and penalizing most everyone else?
Who, indeed, except EVERYONE WHO HAS EVER THOUGHT FOR ONE MINUTE about the situation.
Yesterday, a lot of folks clocked this as market manipulation by screenshot and backspace.
Looks like someone in the White House made billions.
Connect the dots
Another word you might use for it is "looting".
"This appears to be the first administration to take such widespread advantage of taxpayer-funded military housing to accommodate political appointees who do not have a direct connection to the military..."

Kristi Noem is out as Homeland Security Secretary, but the luxury 737 she has traveled on remains in government hands.
As a congressman, Markwayne Mullin made not one but two solo trips to Afghanistan, ignoring State Department warnings so he could play action hero.
He’s a former amateur MMA fighter, not a veteran.
If he’d been captured or injured, American troops would’ve had to risk their lives to bail him out.
I know it’s too much to ask but the focus should be on teaching ethics and nuance, the ability to tell right from wrong, and the concept of ‘just because you can, it doesn’t mean you should’
It would help in so many places. 🤦♀️
Was you home a reading house? Were you surrounded by books and readers?
I wonder how much the early environment can impact enjoyment of reading?
I know there are studies but I find they often have a cultural bias that is unaddressed.
If this isn't abuse and fraud, I don't know what is.
We have no government right now.
This is what happens when you don't have a government.
(you get abused)
This is clearly fine with the GOP.
There are a few conditions that can, I imagine, impact the ability to enjoy reading.
If it’s physically challenging or painful?
And I can’t imagine easily enjoying a book if you have aphantasia?
Or were abused with books or reading was a punishment?
Anyone thinking they had enough time to move any remains to make sure there is nothing to find?
You would think that KKK, you both live in alternate realities
This is harsh but if we don’t stop flying, the airlines won’t weigh in to fix this.
Only critical, medical
Or national safety / disaster response related flight should be happening now.
Have to hit them in the wallet.
