Came to give a talk in beautiful #Kassel at the lab of Arno Müller and leaving with lots of amazing ideas and gifts! These #Drosophila were just what we needed for our current revision. Thank you, Arno!

Here is a tiny glimpse into our recent work: a #pseudotime analysis of wildtype and tumorigenic #Drosophila follicle epithelial cells using #Monocle3. Seeing a bioinformatic prediction that supports our in vivo findings is always my favorite part of the day!

I give you "Woman dancing with a bird"! This is a monocle analysis of our tumor model which we are currently revising. #SingleCell #Drosophila

This would be an incredible disaster to the #Drosophila community. And it sets a frightening sign for the entire scientific community. 🧪 The fly labs from @unimarburg.bsky.social are trying to organize to tackle this together.

That is because those funds are frozen. If you are a member of EDS you should have received an invoice for contribution.

I see. To my knowledge there weren’t any notes that were made public. My quick summary would be: lots of exciting neuro people, lots of folks leveraging single cell (including us) and an increasing amount of metabolism research. Many of us publish on bioRxiv so that would be the best place to look.

Yes, all the reason to be jealous - it was amazing! Rumor has it we may have the next meeting in Portugal, hopefully next year. Maybe a good time to join and find out for yourself…?
