Our Autumn Term Student Faculty Lunch Programme is underway!

Last week, students joined Dean Andrés Velasco, Professor Tony Travers, and Professor Richard Davies for informal conversations on policy, research, and careers.

A great way to connect beyond the classroom and learn from our faculty!

This week, the SPP hosted its 2025 Annual Lecture with Sanna Marin, former Prime Minister of Finland, in conversation with Dean Andrés Velasco.

Sanna reflected on themes from her new book Hope in Action, exploring leadership, courage, and the challenges shaping global politics today!

As part of our Professional Skills Accelerator, leadership expert Eve Poole led an insightful session on Ethics, helping students explore how to make ethical decisions and address real-world challenges such as corruption, nepotism and integrity in public service.

At our Policy in Practice event last Thursday, Ernesto Zedillo joined the LSE School of Public Policy to discuss “Building democracy, implementing policy”. 💬 Students then had the chance to meet him for a relaxed conversation about leadership and global governance.
