I feel the same about video games in general too. Unfortunately. Capitalism always eats up most of its children and the major reason we can't really have nice things too long.

In Hungary (we got it from the Germans, I suspect): It's raining like it was poured out of a tub/bucket.

Most professions have "the default" position. This is by association and I don't think it comes from intent of harm or that even that it has any real negative effects. Like working in the radio associated with being the person at the mic not with the person at the knobs.

I hope you'll like it more than I do, I bought the founder edition, paid a metric ton of money and I'm disappointed so far. It needs a year to get into shape, but what do we expect from another 2K product? I still rather start the VI than the VII. :(

Apparently @unity.com only the lay offs are stable. They are coming like no tomorrow. Oh and the stupid doubling down to AI, GaaS and mobile. It is not a game engine, it's a Skinner-Box generator. Now with (de)generative AI.

They also don't help if you live outside of the US and you need to file for last year. They don't tell you this until you create an account and they don't delete accounts... In theory you can change your personal info in your account, but i guess the logs and saves will remain.
