More Than 20 Active Shooting Hoaxes Have Locked Down Colleges Over the Past Two Weeks Experts said swatting incidents can traumatize students and first responders.

We need more prosecutors to use all the tools they have to hold parents accountable and send a clear message to parents that securing their guns saves lives." Statement in response to two young students in two days who have been arrested in gun-related cases (FL & WA).

Yesterday, a 9-yr-old in FL brought a loaded .38 to school. And today, a 13-year-old was arrested in WA after police found a large collection of guns and “mass shooting scenario” writings at his home.

"More gun violence today in multiple places, this time at Evergreen High School in Colorado and Utah Valley University. Our hearts go out to everyone impacted by these tragedies today - Charlie Kirk's family, those injured, the students, teachers, faculty, and staff. The trauma endured is real and will be carried by so many for the rest of their lives." Statement in response to two tragedies today - in a school and at a university. We don't have to live like this.

There are more guns than people in the US. But we can curb this public health crisis if we choose to. Everyone at school & on college campuses should be safe from gun violence. Our hearts go out to the family & friends of Charlie Kirk, those fighting for their lives & all who endured immense trauma.
