jesus. editing a combo video is hard.
i've made it about 30 seconds into a 120 second song so far, and syncing clips to beats is a lengthy, sometimes grunkly process.

a mock up of Croix's visual novel. the screen is now littered with HP bars and ATB bars, and the text window implies the existence of command options.

more concepting.
a lot of this is just about creating the illusion of an RPG using little animations, like ATB bars. i want to have 5 slots for character portraits, and have them expand when the character's "turn" comes up.
the commands can all pay out to the same scenes, but reveal character info.
