In my experience, I tend to stop investing as much in them and expect nothing. I also don’t go out of my way to do things for them instead only doing it if I want to so I don’t feel resentful.

my favorite feature of the bsky app is when you open it, it shows you some posts and then fucking stays there instead of refreshing the entire feed mid sentence!!!
