I live in Aschaffenburg, Bayern, and left the church. I had to fill out a form and pay a fee, but I did not have to sit for an interview. The hardest part was getting in touch with the office because they didn’t return phone calls, respond to emails and the office was hidden inside the Rathaus.
I hope your husband and family are able to bring in real meal for you. I honestly don’t know how they expect you to recover if they won’t feed you.

I knew I would miss out on some things moving here, but I underestimated the emotional toll it takes.
When real life happens, it can seem like friends and family are a million miles further away than they actually are. It especially sucks when you really want to be there but can’t. I know the feeling, and I’m sorry for your loss.
I completely agree. I cannot fathom thinking about whether or not you should speak up knowing you would be putting yourself and your family at risk.
They are both frightening in their own ways, but Musk truly terrifies me. I don’t think we know half of what he and his group are actually doing, what they have already done or what they plan to do.
