Not only did he manage to find last-minute solutions to many issues that arose in the process, but he also negotiated the best prices for us and managed to keep us within budget despite the numerous and costly unexpected problems encountered in the process. 6/8

Originally hired as a contractor for the difficult operation of removing the 200 tons of soil from the back garden in order to give us access to the remaining part of the site, Guy has proven to be a key supporter of the project. 5/8

During our last trip, we were therefore glad to be able to welcome on site Alexandria’s parents (Ted and Catherine) and two of her three sisters (Michaela and Georgia) and initiate them to some archaeological techniques! An emotional moment for all. 3/8

It all started in 2024, when Alexandria developed a keen interest in the project and mobilised some of her classmates from Salesian Secondary College in Pallaskenry to raise funding. After Alex’s untimely passing in April 2024, her whole family continued to support the project… 2/8
