One might have snuck into Dragon Delves.

I spent last night feeling furious about things and woke up with a migraine. Then calm returned and I went back to designing Pernese dragons. Leafy sea dragonish, with a bit of Chinese dragon thrown in. They have the ability to go Between.

Straczynski expressed the highest regard for Trias and ABC, but he said that he believes
"network paranoia" has led them to use Q5.
"It is a truly insidious organization, I make no bones about it at all. A lot of their research and theories are strictly from voodoo,
Straczynski continued. "I think they reinforce stereotypes--sexist and racist. I think they are not helping television, they are diminishing it."

In addition to Janine's new look, described in notes on one DIC character drawing as
"generally less harsh & "slutty," she will have a warmer, more nurturing relationship with Slimer, a childlike comic character who sometimes dissolves into slime.

The show also will contain less satire and less
subtle, sophisticated verbal humor. "I've written a few shows for this season, and they weren't as much fun as last season," lamented "Real Ghostbusters" writer Michael
Reaves.
As one of numerous examples of this change, the Q5 report notes that some jokes that writers had included about college days and
"no intelligent life in New Jersey" would go over the heads of young children. A phrase such as "create the proper ambiance," the
report suggests, could be phrased more simply: "Make this room look like a little boy's.

A remarkable 1987 article about โ€œQ5โ€, a consultancy that, iโ€™ve now learned, seems singularly responsible for the mass bland-izing of cartoons when i was a kid. I remember the sudden and mysterious Jeanine swap-out in The Real Ghostbusters! this explains so much.

got a "GMs how would you handle this" question, not really edition specific. This from a game I ran years ago but the issue stuck with me and I'd love to know what you would have done.

The Star Wars campaign was set in my homebrew Malicrux Sector, where the Malicrux were a mysterious lost race that had got up to dodgy stuff thousands of years ago and were suddenly wiped out. Part of the campaign involved uncovering all the secrets about them and how they vanished and the McGuffin they had developed that had spelled their doom.

Anyway fairly early on one of the PCs playing a protocol droid decided to spend a Force Point on their Knowledge roll to see what they new about the Malicrux and yeah, I think the roll resulted in something 40+ total. So an astonishing heroic success kinda level. On one hand I had to acknowledge the success of the roll, on the other the player would have unravelled much of the campaign's impetus in tramping across the Sector looking for clues in a race against time to find out everything before the Imperial agents do. What would you have done in this situation? Would you have handed them all the info on the Malicrux at that stage? Or ruled that for the success of the campaign it would not be appropriate? Or something else?

Got a question for all the Star Wars game masters out there about that time @naldodrinan.bsky.social nearly killed my game. Curious to know what you would have done in this situation? (actually non-Star Wars GMs perfectly welcome to give me your insights too). There's a followup question as well...

According to The Economist, over 1100 Palestinians were killed in Gaza in June alone while trying to access food. Deaths near aid centers surged more than eightfold between May and June.

Hunger is being used as a weapon โ€” this is not just a crisis, itโ€™s a crime against humanity.
