Just finished 'And when did you last see your father' by Blake Morrison.

It's a powerful evocation of love, antagonism & grief in the relationship between a father & son.

As a scholar of dads at work, it helped me reflect on the role our dads play in shaping our work identities.

Huge respect to this Bishop. It takes guts to call out fascism to a fascist in the midst of their ascendancy.

This is a powerful dystopian fiction that is becoming dystopian reality with each passing day.

To suggest Musk is unaware of this symbolism when performing on a world stage is laughable.

The idea that he accidentally made that gesture is to impose double think where we are expected to hold two contradictory realities in our head and accept both, weakening the concept of truth.

The response that Musk was simply gesturing 'I want to give my heart to you' is an #Orwellian example of Double Think.

We can see the reality with our eyes. This is reinforced by our memory of learning history in school and seeing the universal fascist salute, most associated with Adolf Hitler.
