i’m just a tad upset i probably can’t livestream an entire marathon set until sunday night since our band will be rehearsing on friday night and actually performing on saturday (along with other friends who i wanna see perform!!!) in the middle of kglw’s times 🫠

psa to my fellow co-op members (iykyk): gonna stream this good good shit upon the projector screen at the space while we set up for our party this friday and saturday and you will have to physically stop me via fisticuffs if you’re opposed (only a little /s)

briefed with my boss and he said i had untold permission to skip the 8:15 meeting since he didn’t tell me he was moving it lol. didn’t even need the computer reset excuse. can’t stand my job’s day-to-day tasks sometimes but i swear i’ve got the best boss and that makes the difference 😮‍💨

first day back to work after vacation:

-slept in a bit today because i slept in extremely too hard yesterday 🥴
-had to reset my work laptop (it overheated sometime last week), didn’t log in til about 8:45am as a result 🥴
-see that my usual monday 9am meeting was moved to 8:15am. i missed it 🥴

gotta give it to gizzard yet again. i already knew forest hills was a legendary venue worth seeing but these other two are quite nice as well. merriweather basically felt like a nature preserve in parts, and ravinia is alive with cicada song as we wait for the boys. thanks for keeping us outdoors.

pre-maryland show vibes are good, just a bit tame. i’m sure things are rowdier at the brewery meetup. meanwhile the hotel we’re staying at has shuttles and drink specials for kglw which i would’ve never expected, but this is a) the closest we’re staying to a venue by far, and b) quite a nice hotel!!

it sucked and got kinda stuffy but i’m pretty sure the air was at least moving, just not cooled

i really wanted to enjoy my first amtrak ride but it’s really tough when there’s no ac on our train car 🥵

started the sob during spacesick and ended it during aerodynamic. fuck i love an orchestra

got six bad hours of sleep but we’re rallying thanks to good transit luck, a hefty dim sum lunch in flushing, and we’re headed to our pre-show pregame brewery. tired but doing it 😮‍💨
