All it would have done was save him a couple grand a year on electricity. But, nope.

When we bought a house in Phoenix in 2017, we put solar on it because, duh, Phoenix. A year later, when we moved, the solar was viewed as a negative. We had one person put in a cash offer and then rescind it because of the solar. It had 19 yr left on its warranty, but he didn’t want to deal with it.

I want to live in an America where nobody does public displays of their Nazism because it will ruin their whole goddamn life, as it should.

That's an axiomatic belief for Trump. He is never at fault for anything. In a better country, the media would be all over that as megalomaniacal behavior, but they just nod.

It's also known as the baritone. It's kind of a smaller version of a tuba (though not exactly). I think it might be because his mom used to play the tuba, and he was too small to play a tuba when he started, but I'm not sure. He'll be able to play it in marching band in HS next year.

And notice that ICE does this to whomever they want. They're not out rounding up truly dangerous people. They're grabbing anyone with brown skin and then assaulting anyone daring to get in their way. They believe they can do whatever they want to anyone. Because who's going to stop them?

Yep. I do not like feeling hate. But my gods, these guys are so fucking cruel that I don't have any other words. And they are everywhere - or at least could be. You just never know. And I know that's part of the point - they want everyone darker than me to be scared to go out.

Dropped the boy off at the high school I would have gone to if I hadn't gone to IMSA for today's ILMEA festival. He made the band with his euphonium. Clearly gets his musical talent from his mom, because I have negative musical ability - I detract from people around me. :)

Our kids are going out with friends later this afternoon and I'm just...I know they know not to run into the street and shit like that. How do we prepare them for "what if you round a corner and ICE is fucking kidnapping people"? (I will send them with whistles & they'll have phones)
