Yeah it does get complicated, and even we have questions about it. Thankfully we get told what time we turn illegal. This helps too:

V1 is only really used in transport category multi engine airplanes, not basic light props. But by definition your V1 speed cannot be more than Vr (rotate).

Left vs right doesn’t really matter, it’s the back to front that does. Have to counter balance cargo and fuel.

Not sure if the 777 can over wing, but I know the 757/767 can.

Now you can also have spoilerons and flaperons which use part of the spoilers and flaps to help the ailerons with roll.

14.02.2026 00:10 β€” πŸ‘ 5    πŸ” 0    πŸ’¬ 0    πŸ“Œ 0

Flaps extend to create a larger wing area and camber (shape of the wing)

Spoilers extend upwards to create drag and dump lift by disrupting airflow.

Ailerons counter each other (one goes up, other goes down)to roll the aircraft.

The Kania LOI is the closest thing you'll find but it says if you have intent to fly you can log it.

The fuel is pumped into the wings from the truck, aka its pressure. But if need be we can get refueled via the wings.
