Might not be a Welrod or its Austrian modern analogue, but it clearly seems to have been modified for covert use. It seems to be recoil operated, so it was probably loaded with lower powered ammunition and couldn't fully cycle - making it quieter and letting the assassin collect the spent casings

That's not a malfunction clear. The pistol is manually operated. It's quite literally an assassin gun like you'd see in a Hitman game or something like that, that's nuts
