So moving to have participated in the No Kings march yesterday in Richmond. The energy of a large group hug with heads held high and voices clear and strong — as we shouted “This is what democracy looks like!”

The "Party of Law & Order" is surprisingly partial to pardoning and commuting the sentences of convicted criminals who disobey the law and disrupt the order.

Strange site Saturday at Richmond airport - muscular young men unloading huge boxes from luggage return belt. Airport personnel then brought out long rectangular plastic cases, each secured with 2 padlocks. These clearly were weapons cases, and likely ICE personnel. Sickening. We have to stop this.

Very interesting. My own recent experience echoes the red curve. But clearly there are many grants that have been cancelled altogether— e.g. DEI-related. Our institution had 5 T32 grants cancelled. Does your figure somehow miss these issues?

All the administration attacks on the media and particularly comedians, make me feel we are living in Hungary or Russia. That is how it starts — the loss of free speech. There is only one way to stop it - stand up, speak out, write Congress, campaign and vote for freedom — peacefully but strongly!

That way they can appoint people that would possibly not get approved — and will do what RFK wants.
