Great Q. Paramount hasn't answered. A merger of CNN and CBS News has been contemplated for literally decades, but has never materialized. Now, of course, it is much closer to happening. But a tie-up may be impeded by the fact that the CBS News workforce is heavily unionized while CNN's is not.

This is murder. ICE routinely deposits released detainees far from their home just to be cruel. It’s standard practice. To do this to a blind man on a wet cold winter day in Buffalo is to know you are potentially sending him to his death.
