On holiday with my partner in Norway. Time for some proper wintery weather and some yacht envy!

Today has been cold and the frost hasn't cleared all day so we've mainly hidden inside, caught up with chores and played some card games (Foxes Duet which turns out to be an engaging coop trick taking game).

Koshka approves of us staying in one spot and occasionally fussing and feeding her.

Black cold tea is better than with milk. Add lemon and sugar and it's good even.

My exposure to the world of fashion is The Devil Wears Prada but I can see how it gets fascinating. Anytime I have got to work with experts and see behind the scenes how things work it's been great.

After three attempts to post, all with an error of some kind - I'm just going to accept the typo in this one.

I'm looking forward to.l sitting next to the fire this winter but I'm really not looking forward to stacking all these logs in the cold and dark after work tonight.

Was a scary 5-10 mins when I couldn't find her. No idea where she'd hidden, I'd checked the usual places! Glad she did though.

Yeah. We're coping. It could have been a lot worse. Just one more thing to deal with.

By tonight we'll have most of it sorted I think.

So yesterday our house got broken into. Today we've both called into work and are spending the morning tidying up and listing what has been taken (luckily we work jobs where we can do that).

Could be worse, we're all OK at least but it still sucks.

I'm back. The news about the surge in users reminded me I'd set up an account. Expect mainly cat pictures, food, optical illusions and vague ramblings about rpgs, boardgames and occasionally engineering, data and sustainability.

Still not in the habit of posting here but the last few days I've been visiting my mum and taking a breather.

Pembrokeshire is beautiful today.

After resolving to start posting here I've been distracted. On the other hand it's for good reasons. Iceland is spectacular.

Feels like a more positive an environment than twitter so I'm now giving it a proper try.

Realised today that I'd not started posting here. Having caught up on my feed today I'm feeling pretty good about it as a platform so far but I need more interesting people to follow - suggestions welcome!
