I recently received the first background for the (still unannounced) game and I love this little temple perched on a hill ☺️

I wanted to watch my partner play, too, but it's unfortunately not the game for him 😅

-> so there is more mileage there. I personally enjoy 'fixed characters with wiggle room' and Phyre is well suited for that kind of role-playing.

Worth mentioning that there is a choice towards the end that locks you into an ending no matter what! That made me a bit salty 😅

The plot is linear save for 1 minor mission and the endings slides.
I unfortunately found clan dialogue very lacking, I think it gets brought up 5 times in total 🤔
The personality choices affected how the other characters treated me (and the endings, I believe) but not the task they assign ->

Second playthrough done!

My first Phyre was a level-headed, polite Banu Haqim while my Lasombra guy was the definition of a nasty man.

Had a ton of fun with the game, the foreshadowing was DELICIOUS ✨

Started a new Lasombra playthrough 👑 now I can properly savor the delicious foreshadowing. There's so much already in the first few hours!

All the art so far has been DELICIOUS, I can't wait to share more ✨

Preamble: I'm a massive VtM fan, but I've never played the original Bloodlines.

I had a BLAST with Bloodlines 2. It's a narrative action game, with A LOT of emphasis on the action, which is not my usual genre (I switched to easy after 20 mins). Very strong writing, I loved the protagonist(s) 😄

Will report back with my thoughts once I sink my fangs in it 🧛

Bloodlines 2 releases in 3 days and I CAN'T WAIT 🧛

I implemented a simple 2d10 skill check system to an inky project, to test the language, and liked it enough to add "turn based" combat.
