The bottom of the current page fully penciled and 1/4 inked. The second panel isn’t exactly The Creation of Adam, but there’s some hands ’n’ clouds stuff going on and I wanted to get it inked.

The top of the current page. ‘Miss Widow’ is one of those little touches of lycanthropology, making evident that that their idea of widowhood isn’t entirely dependent on marital status.

Yesterday’s pencils inked and today’s pencils, well, penciled. Anyone who thinks Zeke getting through this without finding himself in dutch with the widow hasn’t read my stuff very closely.

Pencils on the top half of the current page but no inks at all, which feels like failure. In other news, I was able to venture forth from my house for the first time since the blizzard struck, so the artist shall be in his cups for the evening.

I spent most of my day lettering and re-lettering ad nauseam, but did manage to complete the one panel presented here, devoid of any context. This isn’t the sort of strip where secrets fester until a final revelation, but Zeke’s got some stuff going on.

Blue/purple (bruisetone?) roughs on the current page. I had no idea that werewolf Joe Manganiello played on True Blood was named Alcide, I was thinking of Antoine’s son from Treme. And of South of Midnight a little, but that’s lycanthropology stuff.

I missed yesterday due to blizzard related power loss, but did manage to get some lettering and blues down in amid the fimbulwinter concerns. Lily Doesn’t mind being ma’amed, the fact is she’ll demand to be addressed as Miss Wilcox, if you’re nasty.

Finished inks on the current page, as permitted by a pre-snowstorm trip to the supermarket. It was very relaxing and stress free, but I did find myself considering a couple of drinks at the local axe bar afterwards.

I got the brushwork and spot blacks done, but spent most of my day doing snowstorm preparation. I prepare for snowstorms by trying to convince myself that it will stay warm and rain enough to wash away the snow from the previous snowstorms.

Full pencils and a soupçon of inks on the current page. Lily hasn’t quite risen from werewolf princess to werewolf queen yet, but she’s grown into herself enough to get away with scolding the cops when necessary.

Blue/purple roughs for the page 2 of the current chapter. I decided to expand the first 3 panels into a slower introductory page, which required some layout redesign, but the thumbnails are hardly set in stone, right?
Finished inks on the top of the current page. I’m honestly not sure if Vollwerth & Co sells to individual purchasers (or what the front office looks like, for that matter), but artistic license will take its license, artistically.

Blue/purple roughs up top, finished inks down bottom. Yes, you can re-inflate a flat tire with a cheesy bicycle hand pump, I’m living proof. I’ve even been reduced to doing it in a parking lot once or twice, true story.
Finished pen work on yesterday’s pencils, and a single panel of Lily who has processed her grief and made enough emotional progress to express her feelings. No thumbnails on these because I am doing what the kids on social media seem to call ‘pantsing’.
