MLS has elected to immediately implement IFAB Circular 31, which clarifies the intent of the Law around double touches on the taking of a penalty kick during the match or shootout.

🖤// PRO officials will be wearing black armbands in #MLS MD10 in memory of a special member of our extended family, Julio Davila, who passed away last week.

Julio was the referee liaison at LA Galaxy from 1996 through to last year's MLS Cup.

He will be missed by all who knew him.

I am saddened by the passing of Al Trautwig, who I worked with during the early years of Major Indoor Soccer League (MISL) telecasts. RIP my friend!

Best wishes for a speedy recovery to USMNT GK Tony Meola. His 4 straight shutouts in WC qualifying led to Italia ‘90, This stat is often overlooked amongst the excitement of the goal scored in T&T. Get well and stay well Tony!
