Take away the money involved, take away the cameras, and you just might reason out another outcome. But you can't do that anymore. Haaland's foul is too obvious. The goal has to be disallowed, and once you get there, you end up going back to Szoboslai's foul, which unfortunately is DOGSO.

This is a classic case of spirit of the game versus the technical answer, but in the era of the VAR, there's no longer a choice. The technical answer is always going to win out.
