It can be super useful for work. In software development sometimes we need to produce a bit of code to do a proof of concept. We can spend half a day to produce something that's gonna do the trick... Or we can use AI to generate a fully functional prototype in 12 sec and save a lot of time

If they could replicate out of it, they could just make clones of people. It just temporarily copies the matter in a buffer, they can't replicate from it. When they want to teleport stuff to a planet they have to put it on the teleporter floor first

Is there something worse than an exclusive game? Way to go to force us to buy another console that ends up doing exactly the same thing as the other one. And to force us to miss on some great games. I love that MS finally decided to just drop their games on PS now, hopefully Sony follows.

The Last of Us. I've heard so much about it. How fantastic it is. I've loved the show. But it was a PS exclusive, and I had a XBox. I know now that it's been ported to PC, but still haven't tried it cause its buried under more recent gems.
