Palace U18s seem to have been taking lessons from the first team about how *not* to take their chances
05.12.2025 19:23 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It may well be that Palace have to be more pragmatic as a result of their hectic schedule.
Even Oliver Glasner conceded as much, not that he wants to.
Victory over Burnley was hard earned in a different way to usual. But Palace were resilient and dogged. #CPFC

Thanks Sean
03.12.2025 23:08 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Very kind, thank you. And for not being a dickhead when saying about what you felt was a major threat that I hadn't mentioned. Sometimes things get a bit jumbled for me
03.12.2025 22:28 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0*Correction - Henderson made a good save from Larsen's thumping shot pushing it onto the bar.
Still felt like Palace deserved the win on balance though #CPFC
That was only because of Henderson flapping, Richards was covering. But take your point
03.12.2025 21:40 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Yeah fair point! I didn't realise he touched that actually either
03.12.2025 21:40 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Oliver Glasner is second to last off the pitch as he's serenaded with "Oli Glasner's red and blue army" and applauds the travelling fans for a good while
Great effort from those in the away end on a very cold night and a long way to travel, won't have been cheap either. #CPFC
Full-time: Burnley 0-1 Palace
Really that is a fair result. Palace were far from their best but a brilliant moment from Marc Guehi and then Daniel Munoz has given them three points at Turf Moor.
No major threats to Dean Henderson's goal. #CPFC
Dean Henderson tries to claim a high ball over the top of Armando Broja and flaps at nothing but air. Chris Richards is there to clear the ball off the line and save him. Three minutes remaining of six added on. #CPFC
03.12.2025 21:23 β π 12 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Canvot replaces Daichi Kamada. 88 minutes played.
Canvot goes to RWB and Munoz moves into the right sided No 10 position #CPFC
Eddie Nketiah has given away a totally needless free-kick on the edge of the box. Slides in unnecessarily when there was plenty of cover.
The free-kick is straight at the wall and Palace then get it clear. #CPFC
Jaydee Canvot is coming on soon. Seven minutes + additional time remaining #CPFC
03.12.2025 21:13 β π 5 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0It's a very fierce local derby tbf! Very closely located to each other
03.12.2025 21:11 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Finally on. Replaces Adam Wharton. Burnley fans are booing him and singing something related to him having played for Blackburn that I can't understand #CPFC
03.12.2025 21:05 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 0 π 1Will Hughes is ready to come on for Palace. 73 played. Still 1-0 to #CPFC
03.12.2025 21:03 β π 3 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Yeremy Pino and Jean-Philippe Mateta are the ones replaced #CPFC
03.12.2025 20:54 β π 4 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Justin Devenny and Eddie Nketiah are ready to come on for Palace. An hour played. Imagine that was pre-planned #CPFC
03.12.2025 20:51 β π 7 π 1 π¬ 2 π 0i regret leaving my hat at home where it was about 10 degrees warmer than this
03.12.2025 20:42 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0No problem and thank you. It's pretty cold and not a huge amount going on so not as many updates as I might otherwise do!
03.12.2025 20:36 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Half-time: Burnley 0-1 Palace
Not a great game at all but Palace lead through a moment of absolute quality from Marc Guehi and Daniel Munoz. #CPFC
Don't think it's entirely unfair as Palace have shown flashes of quality in attack and not looked too troubled in terms of actual chances at the back
But make no mistake this has been a poor game so far. That goal a bit of an exception really. #CPFC
Goal! Daniel Munoz. A brilliant ball in by Marc Guehi over hte top and Munoz is there running onto it and directs the header really well into the far corner.
Somehow it's Burnley 0-1 Palace #CPFC
Palace being caught a bit with transitions here. Looking a bit nervy in the opening 20 minutes.
Mateta did force a Dubravka save after smooth work from Lerma and Kamada but defensively some concerns #CPFC
They looked so knackered and it was so reflective of their physical and mental fatigue. I don't see it being like that again tonight but the tiredness will still be there.
Ah I don't bite, feel free to say hi and introduce yourself if you see me again at any point! Always happy to chat
I think Palace will win but may still tire in the second half
03.12.2025 19:20 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Hello from Turf Moor where there is a bitingly cold wind
03.12.2025 18:52 β π 18 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Oliver Glasner very clear on why he is so ambitious & pushes everyone as hard as he can
Reiterates need for progress at Palace but insists it's not his wish or goal that's important but what's good for club.
Seemed to dismiss suggestion it's like Eintracht #CPFC

No real clarity on Ismaila Sarr's injury from Oliver Glasner due to his ankle swelling.
Some ligament damage which might be OK for him to return to play for Palace before AFCON but if he doesn't recover well then he might even miss AFCON entirely #CPFC

Palace have issued a ban to a supporter identified as having been involved in clashes between two groups in Strasbourg during the UEFA Conference League match last week.
