"Mystère d’Orient" – a unique piece whose colors evoke those of a peacock and the shimmering mosaics of oriental palaces.

I love how the warmth of the copper panel shines through the layers of pigment, adding a luminous depth to the piece. This is a sneak peek of the underpainting for one of the works debuting at my solo show with @havengallery later this month! ⁠

These romantic creations, highly popular between 1790 and 1830, were treasured symbols of love and affection. Often representing the eye of a loved one, they were exchanged as precious mementos between lovers of the time.

Art Nouveau entrance to Châtelet Métro station, another designed by French architect Hector Guimard, served by metro lines 1, 4, 7, 11 and 14. This entrance is on Place Sainte-Opportune, near the Westfield Forum des Halles and the Fontaine des Innocents.

For our wedding in 2019, @yoannlossel.bsky.social and I were looking for an Art Nouveau bridal crown. But after a long and fruitless search, we decided to make our own, as we are both artists.
Following this event, and because we loved making it, we decided to create new ones.
