I caved and kept watching Breaking Bad after my girl kept pressuring me into watching everything in the right order.

This show is significantly better ONCE you get to season 3. The rest of the show really is kinda a slog and I still think Better Call Saul is a waaaay better show.

I'm in the market for a new phone and since Google announced it's no longer letting you side load apps, my interest in going back to iOS has peaked.

Anyone else thinking about switching off of Android or have made the switch recently?

Finding it really hard to find any time to sit down in front of my computer on weekdays, but I've had an itch to stream again.

Maybe I can do one more stream before my move next month.

Finally got around to playing Pokémon X/Y earlier this week. Pretty much anything after Black/White I never got around to trying out except for Alpha Sapphire because gen 3.

The game is a very nice change of pace and the region is very well thought out. I'm enjoying the hell out of it so far.

Last night, the fiance beat me in a match of Commander.

Now she's asking me how much Red/Blue commander deck goes for... I may have awoken something I probably shouldn't have. 😅

Had a good day playing card games and video games with friends. I almost forgot this is what it's all about. Good change of pace for once.

I am physically exhausted almost every day, but I know the payoff will be worth it. I gotta try to get back to my "normal" weight again.

All that said, I finally have time to give Monster Hunter Wilds the time it needs. Hopefully by the time I'm done grinding things out, the next big update gets announced.

When the Switch first came out, I had mad FOMO and ended up getting one within the first 3 months of the console's release.

Now that the Switch 2 is out, most of my gaming is still done on PC and on the go with this Android handheld. New Mario Kart will likely be my first game, but it can all wait.

He couldn't wait for his bath bowl, so he jumped into my cup...

I'll likely still use the same setup for gameplay clips and whatever I need to stitch together for a video. The closet seems to be the best recording booth I can come up with, so I'll have fun doing that pretty soon.

Cleared things out in the backroom for a streaming setup and worked all the audio out before sitting back and realizing that streaming is not what I wanna do in the long run. I have so much respect for those who can consistently do it because holy hell is it a lot of work...

It's worth trying tho.

Finally got around to watching Train to Busan.

Maaaaan... I was not ready for that ending.

I was watching the Daniel Ocean trilogy the day before I watched these movies, so I kinda had the expectation of them following the beats of a heist movie.

The first movie suuuuuuuuucks. The mystery reveal at the end was so stupid.

The second is much more enjoyable, but still just as stupid.

Is it normal to hear that you landed two different jobs after two different interviews and have it been a month since either one of them has called you back for an update?

Also, Jimmy being originally from Cicero, IL is like the most spot on trait for the kind of character he is. I currently live in Cicero. He does a good job of describing what it was like up here back in the 90s.

Started watching Better Call Saul.

I watched up to 2 or 3 seasons of Breaking Bad before getting so disgusted with Walter that I stopped watching.
When comparing the two, I enjoy BCS waaaay more. The internal conflict with Jimmy is much more interesting than just watching Walter become a murderer.

Saw that new King of The Hill trailer. The writing is all there, but the way the characters are animated in motion looks weird.

I know most animated shows look this way now, just never expect to live long enough to see KOTH go through it.

Nonetheless, I am hyped.
