It's such a shame. Parts of my family live in the UK and I always loved the Game Shops as a child and during my studies in the UK. I even had a customer card that I haven't disposed of as a souvenir to this day.
I agree with you. However, this is an attempt to remain "neutral" or to protect oneself legally while an incident is still being investigated. Probably also because the German press is described by many as a lying press, no matter what they write. So society is partly to blame.

Since the firmware version 1.60 on the XT-4 in 2022, the display no longer shows in the lower left corner in Movie mode whether you are in C or S mode. You always have to look at the switch on the front. Unfortunately, this has not been fixed to this day!

I worked 40hrs a week for 14 years in the same company and it was lowered to 38 last year. Sometimes you just have to work longer to get your work done. During the corona pandemic I sometimes worked 6-7 days a week and 10 hrs a day. Overtime can be reduced at any time if possible.
I also think the expectations of the players are not as high as the industry believes. We don't need playable Hollywood movies. We just want to have fun. The development of games has to take a different path.

Have you adjusted the mouse settings? I changed the mouse settings (cursor and camera) to Sensitivity X = 60, Y =45 and Mouse Sensitivity Curve to Linear. What a difference! I'm not very far yet, because we've had offspring and there's not enough time, but I love it!
