If they can arrest & deport people without court oversight or due process, there is nothing stopping them from arresting & deporting you or me. You might think - but I’m a peaceful & lawful US citizen surely I’m safe. But without due process - how would you ’prove it’ and to whom? This is very bad.
Crazy thought. The are still Republican whose conscious opinion would be to defend Ukraine & the rule of law and the power of congress’s purse strings. But they’re spineless to oppose Trump for fear or a primary. Can the Dems offer to back them a D or I in exchange for them saving our democracy?
