I'm lucky enough to visit lots of classrooms - at today's visit, we've been thinking about and discussing why calculating with time intervals can be a tricky idea to teach. Base 10, base 60, written calculations, mental strategies, using a numberline just to name a few. @Maths Mastery
In Y7 #MathsToday we were looking at the structure of patterns to come up with general terms. Trying to wean them off their desire simply to spot patterns in the numbers.
