Présidentielle ivoirienne: Laurent Gbagbo dénonce un "coup d'Etat civil" et "un braquage électoral" Par AFP Par Pierre DONADIEU © 2025 AFP A trois jours de l'élection présidentielle en Côte d'Ivoire, l'ancien président ivoirien Laurent Gbagbo, désormais opposant et dont la candidature a été rejetée, a qualifié mercredi le scrutin de "coup d'Etat civil", exprimant son "soutien" à ceux qui "manifestent contre ce braquage électoral". Alors que le président sortant Alassane Ouattara (au pouvoir depuis 2011) est le grand favori, le climat politique s'est tendu ces dernières semaines en Côte d'Ivoire. L'opposition dénonce l'exclusion du scrutin de ses deux principaux leaders, M. Gbagbo et Tidjane Thiam, ainsi que la candidature à un quatrième mandat du président Alassane Ouattara, 83 ans, au pouvoir depuis 2011. Dans une interview au média panafricain AFO Media, M. Gbagbo, 80 ans, a affirmé son "soutien" à ceux qui "manifestent contre ce braquage électoral". Le PPA-CI de M. Gbagbo et le PDCI de Tidjane Thiam ont appelé à des manifestations que le pouvoir a interdites, arguant de risques de troubles à l'ordre public. Mercredi, Laurent Gbagbo a toutefois précisé qu'il n'appelait pas ses partisans à "descendre dans la rue". Aucun cadre d'opposition n'a été vu dans des manifestations ces derniers jours. "Je n'accepte pas ça" "On a écarté ma candidature, de même qu'on a écarté la candidature de Tidjane Thiam. Ceux qui peuvent gagner ces élections ont été écartés. Je n'accepte pas ça", a-t-il souligné. Sa candidature et celle de M. Thiam ont été rejetées par le Conseil constitutionnel, en raison de leur radiation de la liste électorale. M. Gbagbo en est absent pour une condamnation pénale liée à la crise post-électorale de 2010-2011 et M. Thiam pour des questions de nationalité. Au total, quatre personnes sont mortes depuis mi-octobre en marge de manifestations ou de blocages, dont un gendarme, tué dans une embuscade dans le sud. La dernière victime en date, un homme de 46 ans a reçu une "pierre à la tête" en aidant des gendarmes à démanteler des barricades érigées sur la voie publique, près de la capitale politique Yamoussoukro, selon le Procureur de Toumodi (centre). Des mouvements de protestations sont sporadiquement observés depuis quelques jours dans certaines localités du pays, notamment dans le sud et l'ouest, mais aussi dans le centre à Yamoussoukro, des zones où l'opposition était historiquement forte. Plus de 700 personnes ont été arrêtées dans le pays, certaines pour des actes assimilables à des "actes de terrorisme", selon le procureur Oumar Braman Koné, et au moins une soixantaine condamnées à trois ans de prison ferme pour troubles à l'ordre public. Si MM. Gbagbo et Thiam sont exclus par la justice du scrutin, quatre candidats défient le président Ouattara au 1er tour samedi. Il s'agit de l'ex-ministre du Commerce Jean-Louis Billon, dissident du PDCI; deux anciens compagnons de route de Laurent Gbagbo en rupture avec lui, son ex-épouse Simone Ehivet Gbagbo et l'ex-ministre Ahoua Don Mello ; et enfin Henriette Lagou, déjà candidate en 2015. Mercredi, Laurent Gbagbo a par ailleurs affirmé qu'il ne soutiendrait aucun candidat à l'élection. "On ne soutient personne. Et on ne soutient même pas la dynamique électorale", a-t-il lancé. Il a évoqué également son avenir politique en affirmant qu'après les législatives de décembre, il "ne sera plus candidat à la direction" de son parti. "Je vais prendre mon temps pour moi-même et pour ma petite famille. Enfin, je vais vivre un peu, écrire. Il y a des moments où il faut arrêter certaines choses", a-t-il dit. "Je n'irai pas à la retraite, mais je m'interdirai d'occuper des fonctions politiques, aussi bien à l'intérieur de mon parti (...) qu'à l'extérieur", a-t-il ajouté.

We've had a bunch of these guys in our back yard for weeks now. We call them quadcopters but they're actually Common Whitetail Skimmers. The males have the blue-white dusty abdomens called pruinosity. They're very shy so I had to take this from 3 meters away.

Fromages rappelés: un "lien possible" avec 21 cas de listériose dont 2 décès, selon le gouvernement Par AFP © 2025 AFP Les autorités sanitaires ont identifié 21 cas de listériose, dont deux décès, qui pourraient présenter un "lien possible" avec la consommation de fromages au lait pasteurisé de la fromagerie Chavegrand ayant fait l'objet d'un rappel, selon un communiqué diffusé mardi par Santé publique France et le ministère de l'Agriculture. "Les investigations menées par Santé publique France (...) ont conduit à identifier début août des éléments épidémiologiques et microbiologiques convergents, établissant un lien possible entre ces" 21 "cas de listériose", dont 18 depuis juin, "et la consommation de fromages au lait pasteurisé produits par la société Chavegrand", indique le communiqué. Les fromages concernés, camemberts, crémeux, ou fromages de chèvre, entre autres, ont été commercialisés "jusqu'au 9 août 2025" par la fromagerie sur "l'ensemble du territoire national", notamment en supermarchés, ainsi "qu'à l'international". Les cas de listériose identifiés concernent des personnes âgées de 34 à 95 ans. Plus de 40 lots de fromages ont fait l'objet d'un rappel entre lundi et mardi en raison de suspicion de contamination à la bactérie Listeria, selon le site gouvernemental Rappel Conso. "Il est demandé aux personnes qui détiendraient ces produits de ne pas les consommer", a averti le gouvernement. Les personnes ayant consommé ces fromages "et qui présenteraient de la fièvre, isolée ou accompagnée de maux de tête, et des courbatures, sont invitées à consulter leur médecin traitant en lui signalant cette consommation". Les femmes enceintes, les personnes immunodéprimées et les personnes âgées "doivent être particulièrement attentives à ces symptômes." La listériose, provoquée par la Listeria monocytogenes, est la seconde cause de mortalité par intoxication alimentaire avec, en France, quelques dizaines de décès par an. Son délai d'incubation peut aller jusqu'à huit semaines. "La nouvelle est bouleversante et la fromagerie Chavegrand adresse ses condoléances aux familles touchées", a réagi l'entreprise auprès de l'AFP. Selon la société, les fromages rappelés en juin et août, ont été produits sur une ancienne ligne de production, fermée début juin, remplacée par une nouvelle ligne, et soumise à "un plan d'analyse très renforcé", qui n'a toujours pas permis de trouver de trace de Listeria au sein de la fromagerie. "On a multiplié par 100 le nombre d’analyses sur les produits et les équipements pour être sûr qu’il n’y avait pas de contaminant. Tous nos salariés qui travaillent très dur depuis le mois de juin sont abasourdis par cette nouvelle", ajoute la communication de Chavegrand, qui parle d'un cas "rarissime". Créée en 1952, cette PME creusoise, qui emploie 120 salariés, assure n'avoir "jamais connu de contamination de produit" auparavant depuis sa création. Pour l'association Foodwatch, "le problème pour les consommateurs est que, comme d'habitude, ces rappels surviennent trop tard quand le mal est fait". Selon cette association de défense des consommateurs, la fromagerie aurait "dû prendre les mesures d'hygiène qui s'imposent et s'assurer qu'elle ne commercialisait pas de produits qui exposent les consommateurs à un danger pour leur santé", après avoir déjà fait l'objet d'un rappel similaire en juin. max-mdz-hrc-mer-tsq/uh/as
