SLEDGEHAMMER: Erik knew about this film for some reason? Hilarious. Shot on someone's camcorder. Everything is bizarre and ignores any semblance of filmmaking. Stars a shapeshifting ghost slasher.

It's really interesting to compare this movie with The Thing (the original Howard Hawks film makes a cameo here!) in just how different they are. Really like how Halloween is shot, even if everyone is insufferable. The psych doc standing next to the bushes the whole film is really, really funny.

Wow, I thought I'd seen the original Halloween at some point, but it turns out I haven't! You get to see Michael's actual face in this? It was amusing to see the genre-defining tropes, but Carpenter shouldn't write teens.

Respecting the choices here but:
-Frosted Flakes should have lost in every one of its brackets what are we doing.
-Froot Loops beating Peanut Butter Crunch is INSANE
-Cheerios < Honey Nut for sure but Raisin Bran > Cheerios
-Golden Grahams was robbed

Cinnamon Toast Crunch is the clear winner, but wtf are these other three full-on "turns into cardboard in milk in 30 seconds" choices???

Halloween Movie Nights #4: Good Boy (2025)

A 75-minute film starring the most adorable dog I have ever seen. The supernatural elements aren't entirely coherent but I get what it was aiming for. It's really impressive how they trick you into imprinting your fear and distress onto the dog.
