2nd eye surgery went well yesterday. For the 1st time in decades I can see a computer screen without glasses. More importantly, the glaucoma threat is gone. Yay! Edited part of the 2nd to last chapter in my #urbanfantasy today. Getting close! #booksky #editing #writingcommunity

It went well, thanks, Lorna. Vision in my left eye is a huge improvement, but at the moment things are lopsided until the 2nd surgery is done on Tuesday. I'm looking forward to having balanced vision again. Hope all is well with you!

Struggling to edit a chapter these last couple days. Lots on the go so focusing is tough. Literally. 2nd cataract surgery coming up on Tuesday. Yikes! I don't do much night driving as it is these days, but it's not been a problem. For me, the surgeries will help with reading & working on my laptop, which should be better once the 2nd surgery happens on Aug. 12.

The glare isn't too bad for me, but like you, I've enlarged the type on my laptop. I still have halos around lights, especially in the evening when it's darker, but I'm making progress. And I agree, paper is better right now.

Thanks for asking, Lorna. I'm at high risk of acute glaucoma, so the cataract surgery will eliminate that risk. My 1st surgery is on July 26, the second on Aug. 12th. My spouse had his done in January for different reasons, so I pretty much know what to expect. I hope all is well with you!?
