Does anyone know these people or others who actually voted for DT and regret it? I see stories and screenshots, but I'm not sure they're REALLY previous Trump supporters. I hope the regret is real. 🥺

I hear stories about MAGAs turning against Trump, but I'd love to hear something verifiable. Does anyone know someone directly who voted for DT and now regrets it?

We'll have to agree to disagree. I happen to agree with free speech but allow that it can have consequences such as when a person yells "fire" in a theater or slanders/libels someone.

I know 1A very well - all I'm saying is that "news" organizations need to be responsible and label stories as opinions if they are opinions rather than simple fact-based news. There's a difference and it should be clear to consumers.

Not at all - label opinions as opinions instead of news so people consuming it know the difference. Everyone is still entitled to voice their opinion, but actual news stories should report facts.

I'm mostly agnostic, but maybe we've been thinking about it all wrong. Perhaps Christians know Trump is the antichrist, and embrace him because we have no choice but to weather his storms to get to the other side...?

Even if you're in a blue state, call and write your congresspeople to let them know we will NOT take this from the Trump admin. Make sure they're getting loud and forceful. Red state voters plus pressure from our Senators and Reps may eventually make the GOP help take our country back.

I heard there were protests at US embassies (in Berlin, specifically). That gives me hope that the world is indeed against Trump and his dumbassery.

I hear you for sure, and I think that's true in some cases. If it's not Dems creating the actual violence, we need to loudly talk about who it is when they're caught. We're too timid and quiet, but for some reason our anger still doesn't make "the news" as often either. Especially unbiased sources.

I know we're all pissed, but please keep the protests peaceful and legal. MAGA gets way too much mileage out of it when there's burning, looting or violence. I have friends who voted Trump simply because they've heard about protests getting violent.

I love her, but Republicans painted her as a far left uber-liberal who was "just a bartender" (a perfectly respectable job). How do we move her past their lies and get through to enough Independents and moderates?

If we can turn out to create a blue wave next year, Democrats should take it as an "overwhelming mandate" to immediately impeach DT and Vance, and charge Project 2025's authors with treason. I just hope we have enough democracy left to get through those elections.

While the current administration expects "thanks" from all of our allies, I can't help but notice that most Americans are thanking AND apologizing to those countries for the ignorance of the administration. Those stories need to be elevated to humiliate Trump and his band of merry idiots.
