I wonder if we will notice any accounts missing?

Don, if “it doesn’t really affect us” why have gas prices gone up by about a dollar in 2 weeks? Either it does affect us and you are lying, or the oil co’s are hosing us and you’re standing watching. Which is it? Are you lying or just incredibly incompetent?

The article forgot to mention using Russian tactics to sow distrust in Greenland with a view to annexation…

If USA had been attacked then I have no doubt that even after all of Trump’s shenanigans NATO would respond… but Donald has illegally kicked the hornets nest, so we’ll just watch, thx.

Sorry, Donny, but we’re too busy protecting the Arctic in Greenland, like you asked. If we move ships from ice to desert in a short space of time then they crack.

Excellent piece of journalism. I imagine whoever wrote it is avoiding tall buildings and rope shops for a while.

What do you think the UN is? It was never created to police nations or their leaders. Had that been the case then there would be stronger mechanisms for doing so. Instead it was created as a forum wherein diplomacy became collective, building peer pressure on nations to behave according to the law.

Which is a sure fire indicator that Ukraine were never, ever going to get Tomahawk.

When he said he could kill somebody on 5th Avenue and his supporters wouldn’t care… he so often only tells the truth in cryptic ways like this. I speculate that the stories of dead little girls aren’t just stories… and that Bibi and Vlad can prove it.

This is a chance to show that democracy can defeat misinformation; and if it can’t, then I think that the EU should act immediately and decisively.

You also forgot the worship of Mammon. Greed, racism, misogyny and false Christianity took USA down a path from “We the People” to “Me, me, me” for the few who take what they want.

There are 3 stakeholder groups: shareholders, customers, employees. 40 years ago the market digitised and the only one that counts now is the first. Execs are shareholders. To balance it, Unions need to be major shareholders. Today’s execs want Trump to remove customer protections and limit unions.

Palantir has no place in our NHS.

The Labour government must get this Mandelson and Trump backed company out now.

It doesn’t require further enrichment to become deadly in a ‘dirty’ bomb. This material is a nightmare to retain in the hands of IRGC. Putin can sod off, but it does need to be secured somehow.

The AP deaths stats are using a questionable method based on a modified traditional kill/wound ratio. With fpv drones and the ‘televisation’ of the battlefield the ratio has moved from roughly 25% to closer to 50%. This outs the Russian fatalities probably between 400-500k.

I’m guessing there’s at least a couple of dirty bombs already on their way to soft targets that will truly hurt US international interests. Kick the hornets neat and you’d better be prepared to get stung. Trump has made a nightmare for all of us.

Who takes a 1000+ yard weapon into a city? Might as well take a jet fighter down the street. Macho pricks.

I think that this is simplistic thinking. It will take decades to disentangle European and US systems, with Trump almost into his 80’s now. USA is/was the ally, not Trump. So European leaders are walking a tightrope between a maniac and the allies he is attempting to usurp.

In many other countries the people in the Epstein files are being investigated and arrested. The ‘world’ is doing what it can. Unfortunately, USA does not recognise the ICC or any external justice system and DoJ is a puppet on a string for Trump. Until DoJ is brought to heel by the people, he’s free

If Iran does produce a small nuke or a couple of dirty bombs, I doubt they will try to set them off in USA or Israel (too difficult). Instead, look to the Gulf or to Europe/Uk. Everyone in the security industry needs to be on the highest levels of alert.

Russia spent 44% if its annual budget in the first 2 months - the meagre exports they can now manage with their damaged infrastructure and supply chains can’t make up for the catastrophe that awaits them in just a few months. Morgan has seen which way the wind is blowing and nothing more.

15 reposts = 15 bot accounts.

Never mind, Ukraine is on the downhill leg now. Nio long til Putin is gone and Russia is back inside its own borders begging the world for economic and humanitarian assistance. 3-6 months, I’d surmise.

Despite the obvious hardship, general strike is the only answer in a hyper-capitalist consumer society. It is the same as putting a rock in a machine gear and the results can be just as sudden. Coordination of a strike is the most difficult thing, not survival during one. Break the system or suffer.

Yeah, they missed that one. There’s the hundreds of times that just a handful of GOP would have put paid to this madness, though. Not a word about them, yeah? They had a lot of power during Biden’s term, so it was a choice: go after one man and get nothing done, or run the clock down. Then USA voted

That’s not ‘throwing people under the bus’. That’s seeking to dampen the aggression in some people’s change agenda. Like it or not, some progress requires a little more subtlety than simply demanding others respect you. I’m a big supporter of LGBTQ+, so this comment isn’t ‘anti-‘ anything.

A mass resignation of Congress members is probably the best way to fix USA at the moment. Once one of the three branches of power starts doing its job, then I suspect the others will start to topple. Start with the head of DoJ to sever the ties between Pres and Justice, then go after him.

I think the only thing they have to lose is the long term perspective that they weren’t the worst regime on the planet at the time. I suspect that they are working on a warhead or suitcase bomb right now. Even having it intercepted over Abu Dhabi or Dubai would render either city unsafe.
