This hurts Oregon Business.
The event looks like a great success!
200+ Democrats in Jacksonville tonight at Democracy & Dessert. The energy was electric. OR-02 is ready to take this seat back from an absent congressman who is nowhere to be found. We are building the momentum to win. 🔥💪
Regional universities like SOU are critical to rural economies, student access, and the future of Southern Oregon.
We keep hearing there’s no money for rural schools, clinics, or job training, but somehow there’s always money for another conflict. Oregon deserves leadership that puts working families, small towns, and our future first.
Every cut to student aid hits rural Oregon first. Fewer nurses, fewer teachers, fewer good jobs, and more debt for working families. We should be building opportunity in our communities, not supporting policies that push our kids out of state. Oregon deserves better than Bentz.
Billions for war, but not enough for rural clinics, universities, or good jobs for our kids. Imagine putting that money into Oregon communities instead of another conflict. Working families deserve to come first. We need leadership that puts Oregon before politics.
This session showed that when we focus on working families, rural communities, and small towns, we can get real results. Investments in schools, roads, housing, and local jobs matter. Oregon deserves leadership that puts everyday people ahead of politics.
From the Rogue to the Klamath, salmon restoration means opportunity. It supports local economies, protects outdoor recreation, and honors the people who depend on these rivers every day. When Oregon’s waters thrive, Oregon thrives.

Shoutout to the Klamath County Democrats for organizing, supporting local candidates, and making sure rural communities are heard. From small towns to cities, we need leaders who fight for working families and represent our communities, not out of state interests.

That's 2 of our Dist 2 candidates: Dawn Rasmussen & Chris Beck (left foreground) in The Dalles😀
buff.ly/EK0Nqqn Sen. Khanh Pham's a trailblazing legislator. She encourages community input on data centers, zoning, and more. She champions bills like the new suite of ICE protections. Pham entered her seat as "long one of the most progressive members of the state House".
Bravo, Sen. Pham!
Great to see the work Crook County Democrats have been doing to build local engagement, from school board turnout to community events and voter outreach. Strong local organizing is what keeps democracy alive, especially in rural parts of Oregon’s Second District.
Glad to see over $4 million in federal funding heading to Eastern Oregon for healthcare, housing, education, and community projects in Wallowa, Union, Baker, and Malheur counties.
Rural communities in Oregon’s Second Congressional District depend on investments like these!
Glad to have Dan Ruby on board as Senior Strategy Advisor. Dan understands Southern Oregon, its schools, healthcare systems, wildfire recovery work, and local communities. Excited to keep building a campaign rooted in the people of #OR02.
Congratulations to Rep. Pam Marsh and Sen. Jeff Golden for stepping up to protect Southern Oregon University. Rural universities train our teachers, nurses, and future leaders. This fight is about more than one campus. It is about protecting opportunity and the future of rural Oregon.
I’m Dawn Rasmussen, Democratic candidate for Congress in Oregon’s 2nd District. I live in The Dalles and I’m running to fight for rural communities, family farms and ranches, and Medicare for All. Learn more: dawnrasmussenforcongress.com
