Shift registers are really great for creating procedural sequences. We didn't end up making an official node because random streams and some of the regular nodes can get you very similar results.

I captured some nice recordings on the peninsula of wave breaks standing on one of those rock formations as the tide came in; along with some nice details from the splash getting caught in little tide pools and draining back out into the ocean.

This seems obvious but don't use GenAI for any task in which you wish to retain or gain proficiency.
That friction you feel when you do the work is you maintaining or improving your ability to do that work.
Without that exercise you will atrophy.
