looked up the clip just because sometimes people change his words for captions that end up innocently reshared, but upon finding it decided to share the video because hearing him say it makes it 1000% more definitely true and everyone will listen/believe more than reading it written out

Fog/Clouds are so fluffy now!

4ms cheaper than my previous fog implementation and much prettier imo. Using Niagara particles with a topdown projection of the areas it should clear out.

Oh, apologies! The die sides are presented as fractions with equivalent numerators and denominators. +1 divided by +1 = 1, +4/+4 = 1, -1/-1 = 1. All the fractions presented equal 1, all the sides shown always have equivalent numerators and denominators, so they all equal 1.

my former colleague wrote up a great summary of refutations to the common reasons to use GenAI / LLMs, and I have to say I agree with all of them.

even if certain aspects get addressed, like environmental impact by running local models, it still doesn't address any of the other issues.

The paragraph this ends on is the one I find most resonant, and it's where I am too- I'm not making games cheaply via contracting, but rather by just doing more myself, and that works too. Means I don't release Quite as often, but that's fine, the math (and focus on niches) still works.
