Bam Adebayo attempted 43 free throws Tuesday.
The last time the Boston Celtics TEAM shot so many free throws in a game was 10 years ago.
I'm not trying to take away from what Bam Adebayo did tonight. It was special and historic. I just want to explain how it happened for those who don't think a player like Bam could do this. Combination of super hot start, a team effort to see how many he can score, and really small Wizards lineups.
Wizards are terrible defensively and they played 26 minutes without a center on the court.
Wizards had this lineup on the court for over six minutes together 6-7 Anthony Gill, 6-6 Justin Champagne, 6-9 Will Riley, 6-3 Jaden Hardy, 6' Sharife Cooper to give you an example. They can't stop Bam.
Bam had it going in the first quarter with 31 points on 81% true shooting.
After that the game went into how many points could Bam score. The heat were force feeding him and he was super aggressive as the whole team tried to see how many points could he possibly score in the game.
