Twi'lek art rerun!

A crop of line art (and some light shading) from the hips to the head of the most recent picture I drew of my OC, Hex.

I love line art.

Sometimes I really wanna just do that - sketch, line, a bit of shade or detail, and post it. I'd be stoked to do a bunch like that.

But I'd feel weird about posting 'unfinished' pics. And people probably wouldn't care to see it. Also OCs would be harder to differentiate. Hmm.

Final work shift finished! Got a mini 'vacation' set up for moving time. Now I've got a couple days left to prep, and then to power-move for a day or two, and a few days to settle. Hopefully art won't evade me too long, even if it's just for myself!

Comms are a SUPER draining thing over time. Drawing because you're having fun with things can really get squashed by a loop of Having-To-Draw-Directed-Thing, and it's really hard to regrow that innate passion again if it's lost.

No fun to feel that slipping. Hope you can catch a reset somehow!

Chuckartt is a really good artist that still doesn't have a lot of eyes on their BlueSky stuff so far. They're posting much more regularly now, though. Here's a version of a Sniper Wolf pic they did a ways back (I'm SW-Biased)

We'll get it done! Having a 26 hour window to move a multifloor house's worth of stuff and clean everything afterwards (with 1 vehicle) is just going to be a workout, for sure!

We have our move fully arranged to take place on Feb. 6th here! Exciting, after so long looking.

...unfortunately, we were just told that the current property owner expects us to get everything out and the house itself fully cleaned by midday on the 7th. That's very fast...

Art hiatus for now!

It's definitely a change, and liking one doesn't have a ton of guaranteed overlap with liking the other for some people...

...but it still has an occasional banger music track going. Hahaha

A 2018 Star Wars QuickPic I just found while scrolling through my files. The double sunset from A New Hope was always cool, and I remember wanting to draw a more-casual version of it as a wallpaper on my old laptop at the time. Simple scenery!
