Russia will push NATO further and further. Next time there will be more drones and maybe they will hit a field somewhere. Then they will hit an old factory building. Then it will become normalized etc. This is what decades of appeasement has led to.

It’s essential NATO responds strongly, with increased aid to democratic Ukraine and more sanctions on fascist Russia.

If it doesn’t, Putin will see this as a sign of weakness and will test the alliance further - increasing the risk of a more dangerous escalation of the conflict with the West.
