I can't believe that I just learned that my mother, Liisa Haapaniemi, travelled over 1000 km from her home in Northern Ontario to work on a farm to help with food production. Photos courtesy of my dad, Jim Connelly, a never ending source of these kinds of pictures!
There is a measles outbreak in New Brunswick, with at least 25 confirmed cases to date.
The measles vaccine is very effective, free, safe, and widely available.
