Happening now: twelve activists including Greta Thunberg are en route to Gaza aboard the Freedom Flotilla, with the goal of bringing much needed aid to Palestinians, breaking the Israeli government’s genocidal blockade starving over 2.3 million people.

In the past week since the Israeli government launched a widely condemned aid scheme, circumventing the UN to take control over the distribution of aid across Gaza, Israeli forces have opened fire multiple times on starving Palestinians queuing for aid, massacring over 100 people.

If you think about a General Strike and the first thing that comes to mind is, "That feels impossible", we get it. You're not alone. But there are tangible ways each one of us can start preparing, and it goes beyond a strike card. We are all organizers and leaders in this movement.

How does Zionism inevitably lead to genocide? Understanding how we got to this horrific moment in history — the US giving unconditional support for the Israeli government to massacre Palestinians — requires clarity about how we got here. The bedrock that this genocide rests upon is Zionism.
