Yes. And I try to help look for positions or review resumes/cover letters but it feel futile. I know, 1000000%, that I got very lucky to find a job in my town. I watch the people I know who are so capable and passionate get rejected over and over and it pisses me off because it isn’t on them.

I think that news like this should be free. Including from having to make an account on a website. If you are making people aware of horrific human rights injustices and state violence, make it so the people who give a crap can read it without giving away their information to be bought and sold.

Also, the organizations who are trying the same things that haven't worked may stick with them throughout all of this. So we have to be ready to try and embrace new things, because relying on institutional anything rather than the ingenuity of passionate people will hinder us.

This post was made with complete recognition that Trump calling for bulldozing Gaza to turn it into a resort is blatantly genocidal. It was also made with complete recognition that just because past politicians weren't as 'blatantly' genocidal in the same way, doesn't mean they weren't still.

Let's also be clear: Biden rejected statehood for Palestine. 147 out of 193 nations in the U.N. already recognize statehood, and the U.S. played a key role in blocking the 2024 resolution.

Trump is simply the latest to continue the trend.
