We had the best damn time with The Filthy Radicals in Canada! This buncha’ rascals are the best folks and we can’t wait to play with them again. Cheers to all the folks who came out and supported the shows! DIY music only survives if we support each other. We love Canada and can’t wait to come back!

8) Life is beyond cool. Stoked on everything (except America collapsing in real-time). Music is what makes any of it tolerable.

7) In July/August I’m on the road again in Europe with MakeWar for a bunch of rad shows including Graz Rock in Belgium and Punk Rock Holiday in Slovenia. October, I’ll be with MakeWar again on the Common Thread tour, with Hot Water Music, Spanish Love Songs, Comeback Kid, Strike Anywhere, and more.

6) June, I’m hitting @camppunksylvania.bsky.social with MakeWar. Trying to line up more bands to shoot for social reels, etc.

5) Today, we announced that @thewriteups.bsky.social are touring the Midwest with @mustardplug.bsky.social, the Planet Smashers, and @thekilograms.bsky.social in September. Stoked to play some bigger rooms in places we’ve played before, and this will be our first show in Cleveland! I love Grog Shop!

4) Next week, @thewriteups.bsky.social are playing the @punkrocksaveslives.bsky.social benefit after-party at @punkrockbowling.bsky.social with @buckonine.bsky.social, @halfpasttwoska.bsky.social, and more. So stoked for this show. This will be our first time
playing a show west of the Mississippi.

3) I’m selling merch for American Steel on Friday at Pouzza. Also shooting a bunch of videos for bands & working some shifts at the Stomp Records table. Grateful to make a small life out of touring with bands. Montreal is one of the best cities in America. Can’t wait to see so many buds at Pouzza!

2) I’m now spending a few off-days in the woods of Quebec, at our friend’s family cottage. It’s beautiful beyond words.

In all seriousness, this is going to be my new approach to song-writing and it will require self-discipline, something I have in short supply, but it’s what it will take to make a second record.

The other day, I had the tune and a few lines of a chorus for a new song in my head. Instead of just recording the one line in my phone and never coming back to it, I sat down and wrote the entire song. What I’m saying is that I deserve praise, friends 😂😂😂

Unless you have your own vitamin/supplement regiment, I’m a big fan of “Emergen-C” when I’m on the road. There’s almost always a bottle of water around to mix it, if not, I take one when we stop for lunch. I feel like they’ve helped keep me from getting sick, highly recommend.
